I’m sure you’ve heard the backlash against Nicki Minaj within the past week. A lot of news sites erroneously reported that Nicki Minaj bailed her brother out of jail, but, according to court papers (which have not yet been publicly released as of 11-December), it was their mother who paid the bail, using her Baldwin, NY home as collateral

However, another trend I am sure you have been seeing is people saying nasty things about those who were upset by what they believed to be the truth (that is, that Nicki Minaj was essentially a rape apologist). Most of the people who were upset are csa survivors. I do not condone shaming them for their reactions, so please do not do so on this post if you reblog
