 I don’t think it implies that at all and this all sounds like goddamned nonsense to me.

Also I don’t think you can exploit an ecosystem.  It’s not a person.  You can behave destructively towards it, and ultimately that harms people, but it’s the harm to people that’s important to me, not some goddamn ferngully bullshit.
